Tiergarten Nürnberg

The Tiergarten Nürnberg has another attraction: At the new "Bionicum Ideenreich Natur"-visitor center, everything is about the fascinating world of bionics.

Divided into eight topics, the interactive exhibition at the the upper floor of the natural history center invites you to a discovery tour. Learn why a lizard can almost swim through sand so easily, find out why a spider spins her impressing net, get to know what makes shark so incredibly fast, and what it looks like when robots dance... Our kid´s world is a great place for children and those young at heart to start an exploration and learn about wildlife in an entertaining and interactive setting with special counters. Have fun, participate and start your own experiments!

The "Bionicum Ideenreich Natur"-center ist open daily from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm during summertimes. During winter season, it is open from 9:00 am to 4:15 pm. The bionicum is admission free for visitors of the Tiergarten Nürnberg. On weekends and holidays, there are guided tours through the Bionicum for free, starting daily at 12:00 am and 15:30 pm.
