The barbary sheep has hard hooves and strong legs. This makes it a skillful jumper and climber. Only a few hours after birth, the offspring can follow their mother over hill and dale.
As inhabitants of the North African desert mountains, barbary sheeps can get by with little water. They are able to cover their water needs with juicy plant food and dew alone.
