Flipper, Fin, Fluke
Originally, dolphins evolved from land predators. Over time, they have adapted perfectly to life in the water. Their limbs developed into fins: their front limbs are called pectoral flippers, the fin is called a dorsal fin and the caudal fin is known as a fluke. They swim in the water by moving their flukes up and down. They can reach speeds of up to 45 km/h.
