The Snow Leopard, also known as the Ounce, lives high up in the mountains. They are perfectly adapted to this habitat. Their thick fur keeps them warm and can be up to 12cm long. It protects them from large temperature fluctuations, from -40C in winter and +40C in summer.
The leopard can jump up to 16 meters. They also use this gift when hunting. After sneaking up on their prey, they quickly jump with intention. Their long tails help them balance.
