West African Dwarf Goat

Stinking with money

The smell of the dwarf goats - especially the bucks - is very strong. Unlike their relatives, the sheep, goats eat grass as well as leaves from bushes and shrubs. This makes them suitable farm animals even in dry regions. In Africa, dwarf goats are a valuable asset. The more goats a person owns, the more respected he is.

A bleating society?

Dwarf goats live often together with horses so that they do not get bored. They are very frugal, are usually in a good mood and are easy to tame.
