Red-crowned-crane

(engl: Red-crowned Crane)

Globetrotter

The heavyweight among cranes. As a migratory bird, they travel long distances from hibernation to breeding grounds. On their long journey, the large flocks occasionally meet at certain resting places. While breeding, couples have their own territory and are extremely territorially.

Lovers Dance

Cranes like to "dance" for their lives. During mating season, complicated courtship dances are observed. At the same time, the birds bow to each other, jump into the air with their wings spread, and make pirouettes. These dance performances can take up to four hours.
