Dogs may not be brought to the zoo.
Dogs are domesticated predators. Our zoo animals identify them instinctively as predators and are afraid. Dogs can carry contagious diseases which can be transmitted to the zoo animals. Moreover they disturb our free-ranging animals such as groundhogs or squirrels. Our animals are not accustomed to dogs.
