Panther Chameleon

(engl: Panther chameleon)

It depends on the colour

The diurnal Panther Chameleons are solitary animals. It’s only during mating season, which lasts three days, they come together. Females change colour to show if they are ready to mate. Dark hues mean, "Leave me alone!".

Stand still!

The scattered reptiles feed mainly on insects and other arthropods. They lie in wait, motionless. They quench their thirst by licking water from leaves.
