Baboons are more adapted to life on the ground, with their burly, equal front and rear limbs, rather than up in trees. While sleeping, or when they are in danger, however, they climb trees. Otherwise, they romp, argue, play or chase each other around.
The dominant males lead the smaller females and cubs with a strong hand. During mealtimes, the leaders take the very best food. When in danger, they are fearless, even against leopards.
